I think what you wrote sounds more like one party has a need for something immediate whereas the other person doesn’t. Like saying if one person was desperate to be in a relationship to feel “needed” and all of course they will be more aggressive. Or the joking way of saying it with a male and female is if one person is desperate of have babies now because the clock is ticking faster for them then of course they will be more aggressive than the person that just wants to enjoy the moment.
